Kelvin Kang is the GM for Stellar Shipmanagement Services Pte Ltd, a Global Energy International Group wholly-owned subsidiary company.

Global Energy specializes in marine fuels trading and supply, offering a range of conventional fuels and alternative fuels such as biofuel and methanol. The services also include marine logistics, ship-owning, chartering, and ship management, with a business footprint spanning the Far East, Southeast Asia, and Middle East regions.

Kelvin Graduated in Marine Engineering Studies and hold a Msc degree in Maritime Studies from NTU, has served as C/E and held various senior management positions in the ship management of different type of ships.

Kelvin is an active member of several professional bodies and standards organizations, TC member of ABS, BV, CCS, and ClassNK, and a WG member of SCIC/SDO. His contributions to reviewing and developing various Standards include SS600, SS648, TR80 and TR for Methanol Bunkering.

Recently, Kelvin was appointed as WG member of ISO/TC8/SC25, focusing on technologies and ISO standards for GHG reduction and alternative marine fuels such as methanol, ammonia and hydrogen.

At Global Energy Group, Kelvin has been instrumental in pioneering methanol bunkering. He oversaw the design, construction, and operation of Singapore’s first methanol bunkering vessel and successfully delivered several methanol bunkering projects, including SIMOPS in container terminal.
