Jamie is the Head of HSSEQ at Thome Group where he leads strategic sustainability programs and oversees risk and governance. Since joining in 2016, he has been an integral part of Thome's innovation strategy being involved in the development of the remote audits methodologies, risk-profiling systems and the simplification of group management systems.Prior to joining Thome, he spent 12 years at DNV with experience spanning commercial and offshore units across Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and Asia. He moved onto offshore newbuilding in South Korea having been involved in semi-submersible heavy lift, six-generation semi-submersible drilling units and drillship projects. Later, he was the newbuilding project manager for a series of drillships in Singapore. Jamie is an licensed Charted Mechanical Engineer and Chartered Marine Engineer as accredited through the UK Engineering Council and IMarEST respectively and is currently completing his Global Executive MBA at INSEAD.
