Mark is responsible for the strategic growth initiatives of TSS; he works closely with the management of the company to ensure new growth initiatives are implemented throughout all departments. He is responsible for ensuring the business development goals of the company are met and are in line with the long-term direction of the company.

Mark is a member of the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council (NMSSC) and co-chair of the MPA-Harbour Craft Safety Work Group, working closely with both MPA and industry to promote safe working practices and safety awareness.

He is a also member of TSS’ management safety committee and accident investigation committee.  He has pushed for the adoption of data driven safety management by driving technology adoption.

Prior to joining TSS, Mark worked at the public relations consulting firm Burson- Marstellar and management consulting firm Analytic Partners. During his time in consulting, Mark had worked with various companies and organizations including: Hewlett-Packard, Borland Software, Chevron, Proctor & Gamble and the Singapore Prison Service.

Mr. Mark Ko graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of San Francisco double majoring in Economics and Mathematics.
