Capt. Kevin Wong is the Port Master of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). His responsibilities include regulatory control adn efficient management of the port, and overseeing security, planning and preparedness efforts to ensure sectoral continuity.

Beside his primary function, Capt. Wong also represents MPA at speaking engagements / plenaries, and chairs / participates at various committees / working groups. He was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) at the National Day Awards 2016.

He holds a Master (Foreign-going) Certificate of Competency and a Master of Science (Shipping) from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. He spent the first 15 years of his career on board merchant vessels, where he gained valuable operational experience and insight for his subsequent career ashore.
