Mr. Hemant Phul is the General Manager for SMIT Salvage Pte Limited, representing the APAC region. He has over 21 years of maritime exposure, including 14 years in SMIT Salvage, a significant marine salvage responder. Before his Salvage experience, he has been a nautical officer sailing onboard liner vessels globally. During his tenure in Salvage, he has been part of many major marine salvage projects globally. He has worked closely with many stakeholders, including insurers, ship owners, authorities, and environmental experts on salvage projects. Representing one of the biggest global emergency service providers in the marine salvage sector, he, with his team of salvage experts, is at the forefront of finding end-to-end solutions for his clients to address any imminent environmental concern and save property.
